 Virginia Massie VanHoose created Lakeshore Eagle Solutions in 2020, launching it to help businesses, agencies, and organizations with procurement.  Helping organizations such as the Department of Developmental Disabilities find best in class products and services at affordable rates without sacrificing quality or service is one of her goals.  She was a nurse for more than 34 years, retiring in 2010 after working in a school district assisting with developmentally disabled students.

“Ginny” is a Certified Master Judge for the Kansas City Barbecue Society and adjudicates events throughout Ohio and Indiana. She also completed testing and received her certificate from KCBS for being a Table Captain. Additionally, she has received a certificate of completion from the Louisiana School of Cooking of Cajun Foods. Another one of her hobbies is genealogy. She has traced her familial roots to the 1600s. 

A native of Springfield, Ohio, she graduated from Northwestern High School in 1966 and the School of Nursing in 1986. She has been married to Millard E. VanHoose for 40+ years. Together they were foster parents in the 1990s. Once a school bus driver, Ginny also has worked in restaurants, factories and was a physical therapy assistant.  She has managed the daily operation of Blue Velvet Investments for over 35 years and understands the many challenges that small businesses often encounter, especially regarding expense management. 

Ginny has four dogs, calling them “the girls.” She loves Velvet, Lexi, Bacha, and Gracie May dearly.

 Lewis VanHoose brings more than 25 years of procurement experience to Lakeshore Eagle Solutions. He has direct experience negotiating contracts, group purchasing with state institutions and school districts and is registered as fundraising counsel by the State of Ohio Attorney General’s Office.

With experience in budgeting, program initiatives, fundraising, event operations, and staff management, Lewis has a proven record of exceeding lofty goals through effective leadership.  

Lewis has extensive experience in fundraising by assisting organizations with achieving their goals. Through his previous roles, he was able to partner with interscholastic, intercollegiate, and non-profit organizations to help overcome donor fatigue. He was also able to help clients save money and find alternative revenue streams. 

Lewis is a former athletic director for Austintown Local Schools (2016-18), where he coordinated a $2.2 million fundraising project through private donations and public sponsorships. He also served as an athletics site manager for Olentangy Liberty High School (2014-16).

A longtime equipment manager, he worked in athletics departments at The Ohio State University, Eastern Michigan University, Louisiana Tech University, and the University of Akron. He also had NFL internships with equipment staffs with the Miami Dolphins, San Diego Chargers, and the Washington Football Team.

Lewis was a former partner with Buckeye Grunts, which owned the pop-culture performance apparel brand Fluid Motion.

A native of Cable, OH, Lewis received a bachelor’s degree in history and speech communication from the University of Dubuque in 1996 and his master’s degree in sports leadership from Concordia University Chicago in 2015.

Lewis currently resides in Mt. Gilead, Ohio, and enjoys helping businesses, school districts, and organizations either raise or save money every day!
